About Computer Engineering:

      A Diploma in Computer Engineering (DCE) is a 3-year technical program that provides a practical, hands-on entry into the world of computing. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the curriculum has evolved from traditional "PC repair" to focus on high-demand fields like Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and AI Basics.

      The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2001. Thus from a modest beginning in 2001, the department has come a long way. Today it is counted as one among the reputed institution. The department has always strived to maintain its high standards.

      Apart from the theoretical course work, the department believes that the students should have a sound knowledge in practical work. In view of the above the department offers practical courses in Computer Software and Hardware knowledge. These labs promise to pose new and challenging problems to the students and provide the necessary knowledge.

      The students of the department always hold the name of the institution in good repute. The Department has a devoted team of faculty members who are well qualified and experienced in the areas of Software field.

PROGRAM EDICATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS):-

Diploma Graduates of Information Technology Program shall have

  Basic and advanced knowledge in computers, computer networks and allied software, engineering and science.

  Good employment in core and ållied industries or opt for higher studies or become entrepreneurs.

  Good communication skills, personality, values, ethics and contribute to society

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (POS):-

  Students will have good knowledge on computers and computer networking, to analyse and recommend appropriate IT Infrastructure.

  Students will have skills for design, development and maintenance of IT Software meeting societal needs
